Research: 1. I like these photo because of the way of the size of the tall grass is or the flowers compared to the people in the photo. 2. I also like how the main point of these photos is the is the landscape.

5 step critique: 1. observe 2. This photo is of an 8.5x"11" and I used Luster paper to print a photo of my friend Kevin. My photo is taken up close it is horizontal. I edited this photo in black and white to capture the details in his face. 3.In this photo an element of design is shape and that builds movement in the photo,the main concept of this photo is a portrait of Kevin and the shape of his upper body. 4. My interpretation of this photo is to have a kind of serious feeling to capture the portrait. I thought editing this photo to black and white really captured that serious look. 5. I feel this photo is successful because of how clear and just the way the photo is positioned I think it's a good portrait of my friend. One thing I would say that isn't successful about this photo is it's not similar to what I was going for in my research but this photo was taken in the area I had envisioned it, it is just not shown in this particular photo.
